Senior Impact & Evaluation Manager - Youth & Education .

The Client
Specialising in youth and education, this research and insight team is part of a wider education tech platform business, focusing both social impact and commercial research. They are based in London, currently working from home and offering future flexible working.

They are now looking for an Impact and Evaluation Manager to join them to focus on a range of impact evaluation and quantitative research projects, supporting the growth of the team. They are looking for someone who is passionate about issues and challenges facing young people today and how education programmes can help to benefit them.

The Role
In this role, you will be reporting into the Research Director and will have one direct report into you. The purpose of the role is to successfully manage a range of research projects through all stages and also analyse user data to create engaging impact and evaluation reports, showcasing insights with clients and utilising the information to support with the up-selling of programmes to new and existing clients. You will be working with a range of public sector bodies and commercial clients, helping them to understand how education programmes can benefit young people and their learning.

Key Duties Include:-
- Working closely with senior team members to identify and pitch for new work with new and existing clients
- Creating impact measurement tools, and adapting existing tools that will help to capture impact data
- Developing strong relationships with clients and managing and overseeing projects from inception through to completion
- Managing quantitative and some qualitative research projects, from start to finish, including preparing fieldwork materials, managing surveys, focus groups, workshops etc.
- Writing insightful reports and presentations

The Candidate
- You will have strong quantitative research skills and will be experienced in managing ad hoc projects from proposals through to presentations
- Experience with qualitative research would be beneficial
- A strong interest in working with young people and education is a must
- Experience working on impact and evaluation insight projects will also be an advantage
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage a variety of projects at one time, will be essential
