The Company

Based in the heart of London, our client works with some of the most exciting brands which challenge the way we see the world. The company are proud of the progressive and professional working environment they have created which breeds a natural environment for ambition and development.

They are looking for a Senior Consultant to join their Health and Sports team, to work across a 50/50 split of qualitative and quantitative research projects. This role will suit someone who has a solid grounding in primary research methodologies and has a keen interest in how companies can make a positive impact in the community. You will want to partner with clients and lead their campaigns from a strategic, consultative point of view.

This role has come to market due to existing staff promotions and very exciting client wins.

The Role

In this role, you will be working on projects from inception through to completion, managing these on a day-to-day basis and keeping your client informed with progress. You will be working across several sectors - including healthcare, sports, public sector and pharmaceutical. You will play a key part in the project team at ensuring high quality outputs.

Key Duties Include:

  • Building strong client relationships - you will be the go-to point for your client on projects, answering queries and providing updates
  • Taking the job briefs and proposing methodologies that are suitable, then designing the survey or project - including writing questionnaires or discussion guides, sampling, data collection, analytics, reporting and presentations
  • Ensuring high quality insight is produced to feed into actionable insights
  • Guiding and mentoring more junior team members. This could lead to more formal management if desired.
  • Building up a strong understanding of your clients' businesses, where their challenges are and how research can help to influence business decision processes

The Candidate

- Ideally educated to degree level, with a strong grounding in research from a research, client side or media agency

- Understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies

- Experience in managing projects from start-to-finish and ability to pull out insights from the data collected

- Keen interest in how research can impact, and effect change within global businesses

- Ideally you will have experience in Communication Research

- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills are a must
