The client is a well-established award-winning integrated marketing agency, with a team of around 90 paid search, outreach, creative and analytics experts.

Recently backed by an Italian technology-based marketing company, they still give the feel of an independent agency, through a close-knit and collaborative team.

They are now looking to hire a Social Account Director for their creative team.

Within the creative team, clients range from some of the biggest brands in the world across retail, sport, beauty, travel, banking, technology and beyond - from Panasonic and Boots (Aromatherapy Associates) to Vodafone, Barclays and Unicorn Darts.

The aim of the AD will be to bolster the creative account management rank, leading and growing a new key account for the business.

This key client is in the tobacco industry - and is focused on moving towards a smoke free future through sustainable practices and a focus on tobacco harm reduction - with the goal of eradicating smoking in the future.

They are looking for a confident account lead and strategic thinker, with excellent experience running creative accounts across B2B and B2C - with a focus on producing social first creative content.

This is a full time permanent opportunity, paying up to £55k basic salary, plus hybrid working, 3 days in office (Tues/Weds/Thurs) and 2 days WFH - offices based in Victoria.

Responsibilities

  • Leading & delivering multiple projects across one key client account (and a few smaller accounts)
  • Strong understanding of the full 'marketing mix' - from digital, social and inbound to media, PR and data - employing first rate knowledge and expertise with confidence - with a focus on content for organic and paid social.
  • Understanding of social media channels - understanding what works (and doesn't work) across LinkedIn, Twitter and Meta in particular - from both a paid and organic point of view.
  • Be up to date on all trends across social, as you will be charge of keeping the client in the know around new social formats and features, and how they can hit business objectives
  • Manage and develop other members of the account management team - presenting yourself as a leader and mentor
  • Work closely with all members of the design team (designers, animators, editors, UX specialists) to ensure creative outputs are quality and efficient, hitting the client brief
