The Company

This is an exciting opportunity to join a truly innovative and forward-thinking B2B events and media company who have an impressive portfolio of international events focused on the future of work.

They offer the unique opportunity to carve out your own desk, creating bespoke packages for key clients across sponsorship, delegate passes, exhibition stand space and digital advertising and with incredibly successful events, they have gone from strength to strength launching new shows all over the world.

You will have the opportunity to travel to international shows, work within a very collaborative and forward-thinking team based in a modern hot desking environment in leafy South West London who pride themselves on creativity, being industry leaders and their ability to offer a very competitive and attractive commission structure of 10% of all sales.

You will have the opportunity to work 2 days from home a week and 3 days in the office.

The Role

As Business Development Manager you will;

  • take responsibility for building your sales pipeline, through selling integrated bespoke packages
  • Grow existing accounts and acquire new business to exceed personal and team targets
  • Provide timely and accurate sales reports and forecasts
  • Develop and sustain effective relationships with partners and clients, with a view to increasing collaboration for future years

The Candidate

  • Your solid sales experience will ensure you can comfortably hit targets and maximise revenue for events
  • Your first-class interpersonal skills will ensure you can successfully network with key decision makers, and present engaging integrated creative solutions to companies
  • Display effective networking skills to build lasting relationships
  • Tenacity and determination to work to agreed deadlines for events
