Vice President, Video Content Partnerships

Global Video Streaming Service

$220,000 - $280,000

Aspire are partnered with a Global Video Streaming Service who are looking to develop their US presence by making several senior level hires.

The Vice President, Video Content Partnerships will be responsible for ensuring the growth of strong audiences for their premium content. Your team will be responsible for identifying and signing new partnerships with content creators and publishers, as well as developing existing partnerships with video content publishers. You will also manage larger scale partnerships with OEMs like Apple and Samsung, ensuring the app is pre-loaded onto their products.

The Vice President, Video Content Partnerships will be responsible for:

  • Defining the content strategy and roadmap for the US market
  • Coaching, training and developing the team to build and develop a strong and business-oriented team of video content managers,
  • Acquiring partnerships contracts with new partners that are able to provide the premium content needed to develop audience in the US, with a specific focus on News, Entertainment, Music, and Sports verticals
  • Identifying new opportunities and developing existing partnerships,
  • Work cross functionally with Marketing and Design teams to develop new coverage ideas and initiatives,
  • Provide creative leadership, often acting as the liaison between content programmer, content executive and sales team

The Vice President, Video Content Partnerships will have the following experience:

  • Previous experience selling an OVP solution to Content Creators and Producers
  • A large network and relationships within the media environment and a good knowledge of the US content ecosystem,
  • Ability to identifying and generating new business opportunities
  • Experience in online video and online advertising is essential
  • Management experience; coaching, mentoring and leading a team located across the US.
