Web Developer - PHO - London.

We are looking for a skilled Web Developer to join our development team and help define proposed solutions to business requirements as well as using your development expertise to produce high quality results. You'll be responsible for flexing your knowledge and skills to understand and fix business problems.

Responsibilities

· Help to develop, maintain and build a variety of websites, email templates and order forms across a wide range of projects.

· Maintain the quality control of website/microsite standards.

· Develop new functionality ensuring best practices are followed

· Improve website performance across all browsers and devices

· Continually optimising work flow and team efficiency

· Keep the WordPress core, plugins and other website related systems up to date

Requirements

· Have good WordPress knowledge

· Be an expert in HTML, CSS with experience using SASS

· Highly proficient in JavaScript and jQuery

· Highly proficient in PHP and MySQL

· Have experience building responsive websites

· Have an eye for implementing pixel perfect design

· Have a minimum of 2 years industry experience

· Be able to manage time well and work to deadlines

· Be a problem solver, with excellent communication skills

· Write clean, well commented and easy to read code

· Learn and work closely with our internal systems

Success in this role will require a drive to learn new skills and adapt to new technologies as they evolve. Working on a range of projects, you'll find yourself immersed in a small development team responsible for defining proposed solutions to business requirements as well as using your development skills to produce a quality result. You'll be responsible for flexing your knowledge and skills to understand and fix business problems.
