Salary: £70,000 - £75,000

Location: London / Hybrid

A global Environment, Climate Change and Sustainability advisory service, delivering world-class strategic and technical services that enable their clients to accelerate their sustainability performance toward a future where society and the plant can thrive, are now looking for an Associate Director to join.

The role will involve providing strategic direction for the Environment and Climate Change service, with a focus on business and client development, as well as developing and managing a growing specialist team. This role will be supported by an experienced E&CC Director and broader senior management team.

About the role

• Coach and develop the E&CC team with 4 to 6 direct reports.
• Support and oversee continued development of the services offered and growth strategy - including the development of tools, methodologies and thought leadership.
• Manage development of client proposals, identifying and winning new opportunities and prospects.
• Develop key client relationships as well as be responsible for client project delivery.
• Ensure appropriate resource allocation across projects.
• Contribute to developing the companies European E&CC growth strategy, working closely with the regional management team.

About you

• Possess a passion and personal commitment to advocate for sustainable and responsible business practices.
• Experience working with corporate or public sector clients to improve environmental performance and their impact on the climate - with specific expertise in Net Zero, Carbon Management or TCFD.
• Proven success in identifying pipeline opportunities, demonstrating your deep understanding of environment and client change strategy and transformation.
• Experience managing teams with a strong entrepreneurial drive to identify and develop growth opportunities for the company.
• Ability to nurture and develop people in a project-based, matrix organisation.
• Strong analytical capability with experience manipulating environmental and /or financial impact data.
