Are you a qualified accountant who loves fashion as much as a clean set of month-end numbers? 🧾👗

We're on the lookout for a Finance Manager to join a fast-growing global fashion brand based in Manchester - with offices in NYC and operations across e-commerce, retail and wholesale. 🌍

You'll be leading the UK finance function, working closely with the Group Finance Director, and managing one direct report (Finance Assistant). This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys both the detail and the bigger picture.

🔑 What you'll be doing:

• 📊 Preparing management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and monthly reporting packs
• 💼 Overseeing day-to-day finance ops: AP, AR, payroll, and multi-currency bank recs
• 👥 Managing & mentoring a fab Finance Assistant
• ✅ Ensuring UK compliance: tax, audit, statutory filings
• 🛍️ Handling stock, retail, e-com, and wholesale reconciliations
• 🧠 Providing commercial insights & variance analysis
• 🤝 Partnering with teams across retail, digital, and international offices (especially our friends in New York)
• 🛠️ Improving controls, processes, and finance systems

👀 What we're looking for:

• ✅ Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• 👟 Experience in retail, fashion or consumer goods (bonus if you know e-com or wholesale)
• 🧾 Solid background in management accounting & financial reporting
• 🙌 People management or mentoring experience
• 🌐 Multi-currency & international ops knowledge is a plus
• 💻 Excel wizardry + ERP/finance systems confidence
• 💬 Strong communicator who's organised, hands-on, and up for a challenge

📍 The Details:

• Location: Manchester HQ
• Salary: £55,000
• Reports to: Group Finance Director
• Direct Reports: 1 (Finance Assistant)
• Start Date: ASAP (but we'll wait for the right person!)
