The client is a well-established boutique full-service digital marketing agency situated in the heart of Bath.
They are searching for Marketing Account Assistant to support the smooth running of the agency's clients' digital marketing and campaigns by supporting a team of Account Managers.
This is a brand new role in the business and perfect for a proactive self-starter with a broad skillset across digital marketing, client servicing and content creation.
This is a full time permanent position paying up to £30K basic salary.
You must be able to travel to central Bath 5 days a week as the role will be fulltime in office for the first 6 months with the option for some homeworking thereafter.
Responsibilities include:
- Liaising with the wider team and its external suppliers teams to understand the requirements of the work.
- Managing Social Media schedules as directed by Account Manager including copywriting, graphic design through use of Canva as well as optimisation ahead of posting.
- Liaising with external suppliers when required (ie graphic and web designers, artworkers, web developers, copy writers, illustrators, photographers, etc).
- Supporting the Account Managers with simple to intermediate graphic design tasks, such as Social posts, emails using Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud as well as researching and managing photo boards for support in digital projects and campaigns (Getty/iStock)
- Supporting the Account Managers with simple digital marketing tasks, inc constructing email campaigns using email templates (eg MailChimp, Brevo), uploading and optimising web pages and content, social media, etc.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in simple to intermediate copywriting tasks, including social posts, emails, blogs, landing pages, etc.
- 1-2 years of experience in simple to intermediate graphic design tasks, including social media graphics, image optimisation for use in digital and print applications, etc.
- General understanding of marketing, SEO, and digital best practices.
- Experience using CMS (content management systems) such as WordPress, Squarespace, etc for uploading and optimising web content.
- A positive mental attitude and a willingness to learn, problem solve and work as part of a transparent and supportive working environment.
