A rare opportunity has arisen for a Technical Assistant level Patent Attorney to join a highly regarded UK private practice.
The Company
This highly reputable, progressive and outward-looking firm is looking for a Part-Qualified Patent Attorney to join an established team of high-calibre patent attorneys. Their culture is very team-oriented and they pride themselves on the transparency of staff careers, so turnover is extremely low by industry standards. As an Electronics/Physics Patent Attorney, you will be part of a responsive organisation where client care is at the centre of every decision.

The Role
* Training towards full qualification as a Patent Attorney, you will be provided with a fantastic internal training programme which is structured around the individual;
* Gaining first-hand experience in patent drafting and prosecuting as you learn, you'll be encouraged to exercise your strong written and communication skills;
* You will have the opportunity to be involved in some truly pioneering technologies within the Electronic Engineering, Physics, IT, Gaming and Engineering sectors from the outset;
* Reporting into an industry-leading Partners, you will learn on the job and confidently build your skills-sets required to becoming a leading Patent Attorney.
The Person
* Of graduate calibre, ideally with a 1st class honours degree in Electronic Engineering, Physics or Computer Science from a Russell Group University; You should also have already passed (or be close to passing) the UK Foundation examination papers.
* Possessing an excellent academic record (A grades or B grades achieved at A-level) is essential for this firm in order to train for professional examinations;
* With a sharp eye for detail, coupled with the confidence to communicate to a variety of different stakeholders, you should possess a keen appetite for new technologies and enjoy working alone as much as being part of a team.
Applications will be seriously considered from current part-qualified Technical Assistants who have already passed their UK Foundation examinations and are working in a private practice or in-house team.
