Product Manager.

Our client is a boutique consultancy who focus on shopper insights within the FMCG and eating/drinking out sectors. They provide a unique combination of expert intelligence in their space, providing essential analysis, market data, insight and trends for their prestigious list of clients, including Nestle, Kraft Heinz, Costa, among others. They have an in-house research and data team to ensure all bespoke research can be carried out in-house, which includes data science. This year they have undergone a data revolution and have embraced a new data visualisation tool that enables them to build dashboards, visualise data in creative ways and integrate more advanced analytics. This role will be central in advancing this data journey.
They are now on the lookout for a Product Manager to join the team. Your role would sit between the Data and Product functions and you would be reporting directly to the Head of Data and Product. In this role, half your time will be focussed on maintaining existing research and data products, reviewing them and identifying how they can be improved, with the other half of the role focussed on developing new research and data products, helping to manage the innovation pipeline.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be data literate and comfortable working with various forms of data. It will be important that you understand and have an appreciation of data as a product. Experience using data or conducting research within the FMCG or retail sectors would be beneficial, although not essential. Having a background in primary research, ideally quantitative would be beneficial. Lastly, the key ingredient that someone must have to be successful in this role will be to possess a growth mindset where you are driven by curiosity and a desire to learn about new technologies and data.
