The Company:

A global, international research & evaluation organisation are looking for a Research Manager to join their team. They are a highly successful agency who specialise in social, evaluation and international research. As a company they carry out research across the globe including territories such as Africa, Middle-East and Europe. In this position who will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of social research projects applying quantitative and qualitative techniques to uncover key findings.

The Role:

• This opportunity will be working across their African and/or Middle-Eastern research team.
• Working across the full research cycle from design through to presentation as well as supporting Research Executive and Senior Research Executive level members of the team when needed.
• Manage small projects (single country or repeat projects) independently with little senior supervision.
• Gather costs for projects using costing template and be aware of what is an appropriate rate to charge for our services in each region.

The candidate:

• Demonstrate excellent communication skills - know when email communication is inappropriate and escalate with calls when appropriate.
• Experience within the social/public research sector with a keen interest in international research.
• Ability to design quantitative research, analyse the findings, write informative reported and presents to clients and stakeholders.
• Be aware of project budgets - check budgets for paid out costs (travel budgets, fieldwork costs, translation etc.) and escalate to project manager if any overruns detected.
