About the Role - Sales Lead
Our client is looking for a Sales Leader to lead the global sales efforts and drive enterprise adoption across pharma, biotech, medical research, and NHS organizations. Alongside this you will also be the first on the ground sales hire & play a key part in growing the future sales team.

This role is perfect for someone who's an experienced closer with a track record of navigating complex sales cycles and growing revenue in scaling SaaS startups. You'll work directly with the CEO and COO, owning the full sales process and helping shape the next stage our clients growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Own and execute full-cycle sales from lead gen to contract close
  • Develop and implement proactive strategies targeting pharmaceutical and medical research sectors
  • Build a robust pipeline across EMEA, Americas, and Asia
  • Manage sales KPIs, customer success metrics, and revenue forecasts
  • Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align campaigns and product-market fit
  • Represent the company at global industry events and conferences
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify growth opportunities and inform business strategy
  • Play a critical role in hiring and mentoring the future sales team - planning 10-12 hires in the next year!

You Are:

  • A natural closer who thrives in startup environments and can hit the ground running
  • Independent, self-starting, and comfortable operating without extensive training or structure
  • A relationship-builder with strong executive presence, capable of navigating multiple buyer personas and cultures

Ideal Candidate Profile:
✅ 6+ years in software/SaaS sales, managing the full sales cycle
✅ Deep experience selling into pharma, biotechs, CROs, NHS or clinical research orgs
✅ Proven enterprise sales success with ACVs of £75k-£1M+
✅ Global experience across EMEA, America, and/or Asia
✅ Involved in scaling a SaaS business from £1M to £100M ARR
✅ Experience selling to at least two buyer profiles and working cross-culturally
✅ Strong presentation, negotiation, and sales leadership skills
