🚀 Senior Commercial Sales Manager - Events & Sponsorship 🚀
📍 Wimbledon (Hybrid/Flexible) | 💷 £35,000-£42,000 base + commission (higher base considered for the right candidate)
Are you an experienced sales professional who enjoys building strong client relationships and reaching meaningful targets? Take ownership of sponsorship sales for a major manufacturing event series that welcomes over 13,500 delegates and 450 sponsors each year.
What you'll be responsible for:
🎯 Managing sponsorship sales across four key shows held in June.
🌍 Looking after clients across the UK, US & EU - with your own designated portfolio.
📞 Proactively generating new business through outbound telephone calls and managing warm inbound leads.
🤝 Meeting clients in person and maintaining positive relationships.
📈 Identifying new sales opportunities, including cross-selling with a digital manufacturing publication.
💰 Meeting an annual revenue target of around £330K in sponsorship sales.
What we're looking for:
✔️ Experience in B2B sales, ideally within events or exhibitions.
✔️ Comfortable making proactive outbound telephone calls.
✔️ Confident in building rapport with clients face-to-face.
✔️ Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify growth areas.
✔️ Motivated to contribute from day one and adaptable to a fast-moving environment.
