My Client have a fantastic new opportunity for a dedicated, enthusiastic Senior HR Advisor to work in their expanding and busy HR department. The Senior HR Advisor will oversee/manage the day to day HR & systems administration and employee life cycle processes for London office (75 people) as well as liasing with their global workforce (5000). Additionally, work closely with the Head of HR on day to day HR activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and recommend performance evaluation methods (e.g. employee appraisal systems)
  • Design and help implement company policies
  • Review and update job descriptions
  • Train hiring managers on candidate interview evaluation techniques
  • Conduct internal surveys to gather employee feedback and identify areas of improvement
  • Suggest new HR technology solutions to improve day-to-day operations (e.g. ATS and HRIS software)
  • Monitor key recruiting metrics, like turnover and retention rates
  • Address employee requests and potential issues (e.g. grievances)
  • Assist in organising employer branding initiatives
  • Champion the success factors performance & development system
  • Oversee / manage the entire Employee Life Cycle for London staff. This includes employment contracts, new starter routines, on-boarding processes, exit interviews etc
  • Act as the point of contact for hiring managers, employees and other HR team members
  • Coordinate relocation and immigration through external partners

The Candidate:

  • Degree is essential
  • Good experience of working in a busy HR department in an advisory capacity
  • Excellent knowledge of employment law
  • Experience of delivering training
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
  • The ability to manage time efficiently
  • Good customer service skills
  • The ability to deal with pressure
  • To be flexible to the needs of the business
  • To be driven and have an enthusiastic approach to own and the teams work
  • Leads by example and has an excellent work ethic
