Owing to strategic expansion, this leading UK firm is keen to expand at a Senior Associate level. If you have an electronics, software, physics or engineering background then internal opportunities are fantastic at present.

The Role

* Applications are welcomed from qualified patent attorneys (CPA/EPA). This is a senior post, so BD experience will be required.
* acting for widely-known, innovative technology companies, universities, spin-outs, and niche tech players.
* subject matter encompasses physics, electronics and computer-software related fields in particular.
* drafting, prosecution and contentious areas of patent IP
* potential for client secondments where required.

The Person

* CPA/EPA qualification, with a minimum of 1 year PQE
* A Bachelor's Honours Degree in Physics, Electronic Engineering or related IT subject
*Experience of business development is key, as you'll be attracting clients from the outset.
* A capacity to engage and advise a variety of different stakeholders, fostering a proactive and commercially astute approach to client portfolio management.
