The client are classically known for being a publishing company who over the last 5 years have transitioned into a fully-fledged B2B Fintech business.

They provides exclusive editorial, research, data and events for senior executives within the asset management industry; specialising in hedge funds, private credit, real estate and traditional asset management.

They are now looking to recruit a Senior Reporter to lead the expansion of a market-leading coverage of European real estate asset management.

Based in Barbican, Central London, you'll be working as part of our team of 70 asset management journalists across the globe, overseeing coverage of some of the biggest European real estate managers.

This is a full time permanent opportunity offering a salary up to £52k plus hybrid working -3 days in office, 2 days WFH

Responsibilities

• Writing daily news articles and regularly breaking off-diary stories
• Pitching and writing informed and insightful analysis pieces
• Regularly interviewing heads of IR, heads of product development, CEOs and other business leaders
• Building and maintaining a contact book of senior industry professionals
• Represent the brand at a range of events, conferences and summits

The Person

• The ideal candidate will have 3 + years editorial/journalism experience across a B2B publication
• Understanding of the financial services industry
• A successful track record of reporting exclusive stories, preferably in financial journalism
• Strong organizational and time management skills#An interest in and some knowledge of the real estate and/or asset management sector is preferable, but not essential
