-You would be working for leading clients ranging from Unilever to McDonald's.

-The agency also owns many brands and businesses that you will come to know including popular media brands, e-commerce brands and a social-first creative agency.

The Role

This is a twelve month, fixed term contract. The SEO Director will be responsible for driving different SEO strategies across multiple brands and businesses. It's a unique hybrid role - editting and SEO. the role also has line management responsibilities. Even as the contract SEO Director, you will directly manage at least one content writer, shaping the strategy and vision of the content team.

The Candidate

• Experience of managing a team of writers, preferably within the food and drink sector

• An understanding of IPSO guidelines, the editor's code of practice and picture law.

• Experience of using editing skills and using social media to increase traffic to articles.

• Experiencing of commissioning content, securing exclusive interviews and working closely with PRs. Also, any PR contacts.

• A history of applying SEO strategies, producing reports tracking SEO and editorial performance.

• Familiarity with using organic search management platforms such as SEMrush, Google Trends, Google Search Console and Screaming Frog. Also, WordPress.

• Expertise in keyword research, backlink analysis and data research.
