Software Engineer.

Are you a talented Software Engineer with a passion for innovation and disruption? Our client, a technology company specialising in creating innovative back-office tools for sports events, is looking for someone like you to join their small, versatile tech team.

As a Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to develop and curate backend datasets, as well as create an internal trading web platform. This role can be specialised or full-stack, depending on your skills and interests.

This is a full-time position, and our offices are located in Paddington, London. However, our client is open to full remote work for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and curating backend datasets.
• Creating an internal trading web platform.
• Collaborating with other developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
• Participating in code reviews and ensuring code quality.

Requirements:

• Deep knowledge of either vanilla PHP or vanilla JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of at least two of the following skills: Drupal, Symfony, ReactPHP, Jquery, Tampermonkey, Mariadb, Bash, Docker, Python, Jupyter, and Excel.
• Willingness to learn and be exposed to other skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience working in a startup environment.
• Ability to speak French.
