Strategic Account Director.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in direct partnership with the agency founders and the client team to create powerful and impactful social and creative culturally led projects. The role delivers an exceptional level of strategic thinking, client service and creative intelligence, as well as having an active role in new business opportunities to lead growth and further develop
the scope of the business. The successful candidate will also have previous experience and knowledge of B2C cultural marketing and content production.

You will have a proven track record in developing and building strong relationships with clients at a senior level, becoming a trusted and valued advisor.

This role will initially be a contract position for 2-3 days per week, with a view to joining the team permanently thereafter.

ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

Reporting to the agency founders, this role oversees a Project Manager and Senior cultural Strategist. Plus using ad-hoc support resources.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

● Responsible for one main client in the Alcohol sector, work side by side with them to engage new projects from the start, proposing transformational solutions, assess feasibility and driving change for your brands.
● You act as a strategic partner throughout who understands the client's brand and business inside out, developing a roadmap for continued success.
● Owns the execution of projects, run rates and client satisfaction through catchups with job owners and the weekly account/project management WIP.
● Take overall financial control of account, including profitability, accuracy of forecasting, late payment, as well as fee negotiation, providing regular and timely reports to the Group Account Director.
● Accountable for the delivery of growth targets for the account.
● Negotiate to create win-win compromises with your client on behalf of your team members where needed.
● Identify new business opportunities through relationships, introducing IIG's & Y&MJ capabilities where appropriate.

● Excellent client engagement skills with the ability to proactively organize and influence clients and build strong and effective working relationships.
● Excellent account leadership skills with a developed financial and commercial acumen, creative judgment, strategic thinking, talent management and business growth.
● The ability to interpret and interrogate a brief to add value through innovation, expertise, and experience.
● Good understanding of talent partnerships, creative, digital, and social campaigns.
● Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to write insightful briefs for creative and production teams.
● You don't think in projects but in partnerships, developing the client relationship and work-streams milestones.
● Proficient in Microsoft Office and other related software.
