Salary: £70,000-£90,000 base + £10,000-£15,000 OTE

The company is a data and technology consultancy working with enterprise organisations to deliver customer transformation, cloud strategy, and data-led solutions across retail, financial services, travel, and iGaming sectors.
You will work alongside consultants, engineers, and commercial teams to design and deliver scalable cloud solutions that support measurable business outcomes.
As a Technical Pre-Sales Consultant (Cloud & Technology Solutions), you will act as the technical lead within the sales cycle, translating cloud architectures into commercially aligned solutions.
You will work closely with sales, delivery, and partner teams to:
Shape cloud strategy for enterprise clients
Design scalable and secure architectures
Support deal strategy and proposal development
Lead technical discussions during sales engagements
Lead technical discovery sessions to assess client requirements and cloud maturity.
Translate business requirements into AWS or Azure-based architectures.
Lead technical sales discussions with senior stakeholders.
Deliver workshops, demonstrations, and solution presentations.
Architect cloud-native and hybrid solutions (AWS preferred; Azure acceptable).
Develop technical proposals, solution diagrams, and supporting documentation.
Provide input into RFP/RFI responses.
Support commercial positioning within bids.
Align technical solutions with defined business outcomes.
Support account planning and deal reviews.
Address technical objections with clear, structured responses.
Contribute toward team revenue targets.
Work with cloud partners including AWS and Microsoft Azure.
Align partner technologies with consulting and delivery capabilities.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS or Azure (AWS preferred).
5+ years' experience in technical pre-sales, cloud consulting, or solution architecture.
Experience aligning technical solutions to commercial requirements.
Experience supporting enterprise sales cycles.
Knowledge of cloud-native services, security, DevOps, APIs, and integration patterns.
Understanding of cloud governance and cost optimisation.
Experience in regulated industries beneficial.
Technical and commercially aware
Confident leading sales discussions
Clear communicator
Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders
Able to work cross-functionally
AWS or Azure certifications preferred.
Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field desirable.
£70,000-£90,000 base salary
£10,000-£15,000 OTE
