Join a leading global advisory firm partnering with companies in the chemical industries to shape the future of materials and products. We seek a Vice President to drive customer engagement, develop new business, and lead our practice in Europe.

This role has the option to be based in either London or Frankfurt.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive customer engagement, develop new clients at the senior/board level, and lead intellectual capital development.
  • Ensure overall performance, targets, timeliness, quality, and team management for the practice area.
  • Develop and evolve the strategic plan for the European Chemicals, Materials, and Nutrition practice.
  • Collaborate with regional and global leaders for a consistent vision.
  • Manage business performance, including sales planning, marketing strategy, and go-to-market of new solutions.
  • Maintain high-level customer interaction, personal business pipeline, and deliver on consulting opportunities.
  • Work with the leadership team to develop solutions for regional clients.

People Management and Leadership:

  • Inspire and motivate the team to achieve revenue targets and project success.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and leadership to the consulting teams.
  • Conduct performance reviews and set team targets that align with business objectives.
  • Develop operational processes to enhance efficiency and deliver value to clients.

New Business Development and Account Management:

  • Collaborate with commercial leadership to shape the sales vision and strategy.
  • Generate a robust business pipeline for Chemicals, Materials, and Nutrition in Europe.
  • Regularly review sales pipeline and performance to drive results.
  • Support the sales team in closing deals, leveraging your expertise as a leader and senior consultant.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key accounts and effectively achieve business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Professional and committed business consultant with consulting methodology knowledge.
  • Proven success in client interaction, business development, and consulting project fulfillment.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Work experience in Chemicals, Chemistry, Science, Materials, or related fields.
  • Strong expertise in Chemicals, Plastics, Materials, and Specially Chemicals industries.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead projects and teams.
  • Strong analytic, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in English (written and verbal).
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Well-organized, conscientious, and on time.
