Case study.

Clarasys is a London based independent management consultancy servicing a range of clients, from small not-for-profit organisations to multinational corporations. Their focus is to help clients to improve their customer experience and lead to cash process (everything from how a customer finds a product to how they are invoiced), making use of their expertise in business change, technology and agile delivery techniques to deliver sustainable business improvements.

Some of Clarasys' clients include Thomson Reuters, Informa and some public-sector clients. Many of them are complex global multi-sites that need to understand the complexity of their internal business processes and seek Clarasys management consulting services to help them do that.


Growing the business

Aspire have helped Clarasys grow from a team of 8 people to a team of 70. Half of this current total are graduates, who have joined through the grad scheme that Aspire orchestrates.

Clarasys are passionate about investing in people, to make sure the candidates that join grow into effective consultants over time, so the graduate scheme is extremely important to them. Clarasys have seen successful results with over 40 graduates joining the business over the last 5 years.

The relationship between Clarasys and Aspire started five years ago when Aspire ran a graduate recruitment course. In the first year, Clarasys hired 2 grads, but (as with any new venture) they were unsure whether this recruitment model would work for the business. However, five years (and 7 grad courses) later, Clarasys have seen impressive results. This year they've recruited 8 graduates using Aspire and over the next couple of years, Clarasys could see that grow to 16 a year as the firm gets bigger.

The successes of the candidates placed by Aspire is evident. This year one of the first grads that Aspire helped to place celebrates their 5 year anniversary with the company. She is now leading a team with one of their big clients.

Hosted Interview Days

Previously Aspire hosted group interviews at their office, whereby clients could easily and efficiently select candidates they want to progress with, by seeing a small group of candidates performing tasks at the same time.

Hosted interviews helped Clarasys because they didn't have to hire space for interviews. It minimised the internal resources Clarasys would have had to of used if they carried out interviews themselves. Likewise, it allowed them to process a group of people in a short period of time, instead of having to make decisions on a one to one interview basis.
