Digital Sales Manager - Events

Location: West London, Wimbledon (on-site)
Salary: £45,000-£50,000 basic + commission
Commission: c.40% of basic (OTE), plus 10% overage
Travel: Client-facing role; driving preferred. Some international travel expected longer term.

The Role

We're recruiting a Digital Sales Manager to join a well-established events business working across multiple market-leading event portfolios within the Safety, Security, Fire, Health & Safety, Counter-Terrorism and Emergency Services sectors.

This is a newly created role focused on growing and monetising a broad digital product portfolio, working closely with key clients and internal stakeholders across the business.

You'll take ownership of a core group of 30-40 key accounts, developing long-term relationships and expanding digital revenue across multiple shows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of top-tier client accounts across several event brands
  • Sell and develop a range of digital products, including:
    • Digital advertising
    • Webinars and podcasts
    • White papers and research reports
    • Digital roundtables and platforms
  • Build strong, face-to-face relationships through client meetings, calls and site visits
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across sales, content, marketing and operations
  • Contribute to the development of the digital sales strategy as the portfolio scales
  • Report into the Head of Digital Sales, supporting cross-business digital growth

Revenue & Targets

  • Year 1 target: £250k
  • Medium-term target: £1m+ within 2 years
  • Existing digital portfolio currently generates c.£1m annually, with significant growth potential

About You

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within events, media or digital products
  • Strong account management and relationship-building skills
  • Confident and professional in face-to-face client environments
  • Comfortable picking up the phone as well as being out meeting clients
  • Experience working across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced business
  • Organised, commercially minded and growth-focused
  • Ideally a full driving license holder
