Your Profile
This is a fantastic opportunity for an EPA/CPA Qualified or Finalist level Patent Attorney in the field of Mechanical Engineering who is keen to work on a range of client portfolios, adding immediate value to existing client relationships. You should possess a minimum of 4 years experience and enjoy the variety and challenges of modern practice environments. Your first-degree and/or PhD should be from an Engineering related field, and you enjoy the variety of automotive, aeronautical, renewable energy and materials biased technology sectors.
Your career will be supported and nurtured in this role, as necessary, to attain your own professional ambitions within the firm.
The successful candidate should be commercially minded, hard-working, self-motivated, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work closely with direct clients is essential.

You'll be handling a large proportion of direct clients, which includes a broad portfolio of Engineering technology, particularly clean-tech and renewable energy. As well as core drafting and prosecution work, there will also be Opposition and Appeal cases to provide variety.
