PR Journalist.

The client is a London-based communications agency with a global influence helping businesses to grow, promote and protect their brands.

They are passionate about taking smart ideas and making them stand out, using creativity, daring and intelligent thinking to deliver lasting impact to campaigns.

The team combines B2C and B2B PR, thought leadership, content creation, digital strategy, SEO, internal communications and event management.

They are currently looking for a PR Journalist to oversee public relations duties for a range of assigned clients.

You will oversee general account management for clients and prospective clients as well as new business development.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced B2B journalist or Content writer looking to be more client facing.

This is a full time permanent role offering up to £35k basic salary plus hybrid working -2-3 Days in a Central London office.

Responsibilities:

• Research, write and publish news releases on behalf of clients.
• Write articles for client magazines/newsletters and for magazine publication.
• Write speeches, advertising copy, brochure copy and website copy.
• Maintain relationships with all relevant media in order to maximise editorial coverage.
• Write in accordance with agreed 'house' style. This may vary depending on client preferences.
• Assist in the management of support staff and any additional staff resources that may subsequently be recruited.
• Promote and maintain assigned client relationships and prospective client relationships.
• Understand client businesses, points of contact and service needs.

The Person

• At least 2 years minimum across B2B journalism, marketing or content writing.
• Degree level education.
• Excellent communicator as client interaction over email & face to face is required daily.
• Storyteller or passion to build compelling and interesting stories
• Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
• Excellent organisational skills - ability to manage multiple projects at once
