Aspire has partnered with a prominent beauty brand based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As an innovative company in the e-commerce and beauty retail space, they are committed to delivering exceptional products and services to their customers. They are seeking a Product Development Coordinator to manage and coordinate the New Product Development (NPD) initiatives. This role involves assisting in managing the product portfolio, with a focus on creative, technical, and sustainability aspects.

This role plays a crucial part in the seamless operations between stakeholders, including manufacturers, agencies, and internal teams. The Product Development Coordinator contributes to successful product launches, continuous improvement, and innovation within the NPD Team. This ultimately leads to elevated product quality standards, heightened customer satisfaction, increased brand awareness, and maximised sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and facilitate the end-to-end NPD process, ensuring seamless execution from concept to launch.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with key stakeholders including Suppliers, Clients, Creative Agencies, NGOs (e.g., B-Corp), and occasionally consumers, both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Supply Chain, Planning, Quality & Regulatory, Retail, E-commerce, and Marketing.
  • Drive the implementation of NPD strategies, with a sharp focus on sustainability.
  • Continuously seek improvements and new opportunities by analysing trends, consumer behaviour, and market dynamics.
  • Contribute to the NPD portfolio with a 24-month pipeline, overseeing critical path management, both internally and with suppliers/customers.
  • Assist in the creation and coordination of projects from conceptualisation to launch.
  • Provide input into enhancing NPD/innovation processes, emphasising sustainability.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in retail/beauty/product management.
  • Bachelor's level, preferably in Business Administration.
  • Passion for brands and beauty, with experience in processes.
  • Previous experience within Beauty Retail, preferably in Makeup, with a strong conceptual understanding.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Commercial insight and assertiveness in decision-making.
  • Proactive approach, adaptability, accuracy, and ability to handle stress.
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic.
