Research Consultant - Melbourne, Australia.

The Company

We are partnering with an established and esteemed research agency, who specialise in social and public sector research. Based in a fantastic part of Melbourne, they boast modern and open plan offices and a fantastic working environment. They have an opening for a Research or Senior Research Consultant to join one of their quantitative research teams, with the opportunity to work on high profile clients and on projects that have a real social impact.

The Role

This role will suit someone who has a strong quantitative research background, with experience in drafting proposals, writing questionnaires, managing surveys, analysis, report writing and presenting to clients.

You will be working on a range of social and public sector clients, across education, health, government, employment and infrastructure. You will be managing clients on a day-to-day basis, keeping them posted with project updates and building up strong relationships. Work is mostly ad hoc in focus.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be at least a Senior Research Executive in level, with strong quantitative research skills gained in a research agency.

You will be able to manage a variety of projects at one time, to time and budget.

You will have experience in drafting or writing proposals, designing questionnaires, checking data, analysis and report writing.

You don't need to have social and public sector experience, but a keen interest in this area and a passion for research is key.

Candidates who do not have right to work in Australia, those who qualify for the Australian youth mobility fast-track working visa can also be considered.
