Our client is a leading research & insight consultancy, based in London, looking to hire a Quantitative Research Director to focus on consumer brands. This role will suit someone who enjoys being creative and can draw out the findings to provide meaningful insights for the client, whilst being hands-on and taking ownership of projects to ensure their success. A key part of the role will be to build up strong client relationships and mentor more junior team members.

The Role

As Research Director you will be working on a wide variety of ad hoc quantitative research projects, focused on supporting brands across early-stage ideation, concept development, package optimisation, pack testing, NPD and product testing. You will be responsible for leading and managing projects from inception through to completion, working with clients to help them strengthen brand impact and maximise commercial success.

This is an exciting role for someone who is looking to work with well-known brands, helping them achieve their goals through research & insight programmes.

Key Duties Include:-

Writing proposals in response to briefs and incoming requests from clients
Attending pitch meetings, to secure new business wins
Identifying and designing bespoke research programmes to meet the client's needs
Overseeing and running the projects and the team, to meet time frames and budgets
Creating insightful reports and presentations for clients that tell the story and showcase the findings
Developing other employees to help them reach their full potential
Developing strong relationships with your clients, to encourage repeat business

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in quantitative research, with strong breadth and depth of experience so that you can turn your hand to lots of different project work.
You will likely be at Associate Director level looking to take the next step up in your career, or an established Research Director who is looking for a new challenge and opportunity.
You will be strong in managing projects from proposals and pitching, through to pulling out key findings and delivering creative and insightful reports and presentations.
You will be someone who can think on your feet, troubleshoot any issues as they arise, lead project teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
Strong analytical ability, critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, influencing skills, and leadership experience.
