Venue Sales Manager.

I am searching for an entrepreneurial Venue Sales Manager who knows how to sell not just a venue, but a vision. It is about engaging clients with energy and confidence, getting them through the doors, and painting a picture of how their event will come to life.

The Role

You'll take the reins of a fast-paced sales team, elevate performance, and set a new standard for what a venue sales operation can achieve. You'll lead from the front, building a high-performing team that delivers large-scale, high-value events. This is a destination role-for clients, your team, and for you.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will

• Drive both proactive and reactive sales strategies to build a strong, profitable pipeline
• Lead, mentor, and develop a sales team into industry-leading performers
• Personally secure new business-getting clients through the door and over the line
• Prioritise high-value enquiries with commercial focus
• Thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Use CRM insights and data to inform strategy (and build admin support if needed)
• Collaborate closely with marketing to increase awareness and attract top-tier clients
• Build relationships and networks that open doors
• Instill value-based selling-your team sells why, not what
• Shape and influence the future commercial direction of the business

About You

• A proven track record in selling high-value events or hospitality experiences
• Experience in both proactive hunting and reactive conversion
• Strong leadership capabilities-coaching, motivating, and holding a team to account
• A strategic mindset and the ambition to grow into a Commercial Director role
• Confidence in your commercial decisions, with or without a spreadsheet
• A strong grasp of value-based selling-no heavy discounting needed
• Resilience, pace, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
