The client is a global B2B publishing and events business that serves the automotive industry.
They have a legacy in print publishing that has evolved to include physical events, with products that now include livestreams, webinars, digital editions, podcasts, digital events, conferences and much more.
They are now looking to recruit for a Marketing Executive to help provide marketing support in the execution of the client's marketing campaigns for a variety of products through the full mix of marketing channels.
Working collaboratively in a team of 5 marketers and reporting into the Head Marketing, your key focus will be to help increase engagement with key audiences, drive registrations to live events and websites, and deliver on marketing agreements with sponsors and clients.
This is a full time permanent opportunity paying up to £32k basic salary plus hybrid working, 2 days in office (Offices: Hammersmith)
Responsibilities:
- Updating event and brand websites with agendas, speakers, and sponsor updates.
- Writing and scheduling organic social media posts as part of a wider content marketing strategy within campaigns.
- Creating video clips from owned-content to repurpose across our marketing campaigns as part of a 360 content marketing strategy
- Delivering planned client activities across websites, whitepapers, bespoke emails, job ads, and website advertising in collaboration with marketing leads and commercial teams.
- Coordinating and briefing internal and external design teams on marketing collateral including website banners, social media banners, commercial brochures, on-site marketing materials, print advertisements and more.
- Writing and scheduling campaign marketing emails for a variety of products in collaboration with the marketing lead.
The Person:
- A minimum of one year's relevant business marketing experience working in conferences, events, media, digital marketing or similar b2b commercial environment.
- Keen interest in pursuing a career in media and events marketing.
- Be able to deliver basic marketing functions (direct, social, digital marketing)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise.
- Excellent copywriting and proofing skills with an eye for detail.
- Experience using CRM systems, Google Analytics, social media platforms.
- An understanding of SEO, marketing analytics and reporting.
- Proficient across the Microsoft office suite
- The ability to work remotely from a UK base and be able to commit to a minimum of two days a week in the office.
- Some international travel may be required.
