Senior Marketing Executive.

The client is a global media and communications group, who have been around for over 50 years

They are one of the world's leading sources of analysis and debate on African political and economic issues.

They use a variety of platforms and services including magazines, digital media, newsletters, market intelligence and international events.

They are now looking to hire a Senior Marketing Executive to deliver engaging and effective B2B subscription campaigns, B2B marketing campaigns and create, drive and deliver marketing campaigns for clients and their events.

Reporting into the Head of Marketing, the aim of your role will be to enhance brand awareness as the client has a number of campaigns planned around different products to help drive subscriptions.

This is a full time permanent opportunity paying up to £35k basic salary plus hybrid working - 3 days in office and 2 days WFH (Offices close to Farringdon Tube)

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver marketing campaigns to meet with client objectives
• Conceptualise and deliver effective, persuasive subscription marketing campaigns
• Establish a close working relationship with key stakeholders within the business, in particular the sales and customer success teams
• Manage graphic designers and freelancers to deliver rich content for internal and client campaigns
• Utilise data to increase engagement across various internal and client campaigns
• Work with the different teams (sales / editorial etc) to develop and agree campaign goals and tactics
• Establish and optimise processes for lead generation/management, including sales feedback, best use of marketing/CRM systems
• Campaign activities will include subscriptions, content marketing, online paid media, events and tradeshows, webinars, telemarketing, email marketing

The Person

• 2-3 years' experience as a marketer
• Impeccable writing skills and attention to detail [they client expects you to write copy, in different formats, long form and short form]
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Strong digital and social media skills, including familiarity with WordPress and SEO and analytics
• Educated to degree level at minimum
• Excellent command of spoken and written English. Additional languages an asset
• Creative self-starter who is comfortable working in collaboration
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with team members and external stakeholders
