Account Director - Communications Agency
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 with company bonus
Location: London (with remote working)


A leading, London-based, Communications Agency is presently looking for their next Account Director. If you have a background in Marketing and Brand Communications and are passionate about your work, I want to hear from you!

The Business

This Account Director opportunity will sit within a client team of a mid-sized Communications Agency, known for its ability to analyse client needs, build a framework around the narrative and to plan and deliver impactful and meaningful communications.

The Role

This Account Director position exists as the business is constantly winning new clients and large pieces of work and as such, this is your opportunity to be part of meaningful projects, working with engaging clients.

As Account Director, the keyword for this position is engagement. Engagement with clients, engagement with audiences and engagement with stakeholders. The aim is to turn client's briefs into multi-channel communications solutions. This could take the form of translating annual, financial and sustainability reports into websites, microsites, apps and content which fit the brand voice, deliver to audiences in a tone that is in keeping with their expectations and convey key information in an articulate and concise fashion.


Responsibilities
* Understanding your accounts from a commercial, strategic and operational point of view. Develop deep and trusted relationships to ensure you are the person they come to
* Taking ownership of the multi-channel projects on your books and delivering them in a timely manner, to client satisfaction and to your own high, personal standards
* Managing relationships with project teams to ensure you are keeping a close eye on what is going on, project delivery and that the highest possible standards are maintained throughout
* Working to continually develop your knowledge of client industries so you can be a voice of authority when dealing with client's needs, aims and ambitions


About you
* Exceptional communicator. Able to build trust with internal and external stakeholders
* Adept at listening and as a result, asking questions and uncovering needs to give you the inside track on what is needed by clients and client teams
* The ability to understand if and when things aren't going in the right direction to step in and make amendments in a timely and productive fashion
* Exceptional standards of work and an acute eye for detail to ensure what is being produced fits client specifications and will keep them coming back to you!
