This is the second quarterly report for 2023 which surveyed 1100 candidates about their concerns with the job market and when they are likely to move jobs.
We also asked about how often they used AI tools in their role, plus their confidence in securing a mortgage and meeting their savings goal on their current wage.
Candidates can use this report to understand how their peers feel about these particular topics. Clients can use this report to identify the pain points and needs of today's candidates so that they can better position themselves as an attractive employer.

Some of the key takeaways include:
15.4% of candidates intend to start looking for a new role within the next six months.
Just over a quarter of job seekers (27.6%) are considering contract or freelance work.
Over a third (37.3%) suggest that their inability to save is due to a low salary or low wages.
